At the beginning of the year, polls were giving a strong victory to the conservative opposition in Canada and Australia ahead of their elections in May. Five months later, both states saw a sweeping majority for the incumbent center-left parties coming out of their elections in a historical 180-shift of the vote. And one name comes to the table, Donald Trump.
